Each year, we offer scholarships to pupils demonstrating outstanding ability in their chosen field. Scholarships are offered for 11+, 13+ and 16+ admission. Successful pupils are rewarded with an annual amount deducted from their fees which lasts throughout their time at the College.
Continuation Scholarships are offered at the end of Year 6 to current pupils at the Prep School. Successful pupils are rewarded with an annual amount deducted from their fees which lasts throughout Years 7 and 8.
Our scholarships are open to all. Once a child has been registered for a place at the College, we will send you details of how you can apply for one of the four types of scholarship offered. Assessments take place in January of the year prior to entry (the January of Year 6).
All pupils who register are automatically entered for the Academic Scholarship.
Our most popular scholarship for this entry point is the Junior Scholarship, which is suitable for pupils who are strong academically and have an additional interest in at least one of the five following areas: sport, music, art, dance and drama.
The third scholarship we offer at this entry point is for Chess and anyone who is interested in the game is welcome to apply. It is usual for applicants to be a member of their school and country chess teams.
As entrance exams are taken in Year 6, we will invite you to apply for our scholarships once your place at the College has been confirmed and upon recommendation from your current school. Scholarship assessments usually take place between January and March of Year 8.
We offer a number of exciting scholarships at 13+. These are are detailed in full in our scholarships booklet. Scholarships this year include Academic, Art, Chess, Choral, Dance, Drama, DT, Music and Sports.
We also offer our Millennium Scholarship, which is a standalone all-rounder scholarship. To apply for this you choose a combination of three areas: academic, art, dance, drama, music, sport or service. More information can be found in the scholarships booklet.
To apply for our Sixth Form entry Scholarships, you must first be registered for a place at the College. Upon registration, you will be sent a form asking you to choose which, if any, Scholarships you'd like to apply for.
At 16+ we offer Scholarships for Academic, Sports and Creative Arts (choose from Art, Drama, Dance, DT or Music). Scholarship assessments take place the week following our entrance assessment in November of the year prior to entry (Year 11). We offer tailor-made days for Sports Scholarships, depending on the sports in which you are interested.
We also offer the exciting Opening Doors scholarship, specifically for talented and ambitious young people from the local area who have experienced a significant disadvantage, or who have been displaced. Please read more about this programme here.
