Kingsford Community School Partnership

The Kingsford Community School Partnership continues to go from strength to strength since its conception in 2006. In addition to the Social Enterprise Challenge and the ongoing scholarship programme, the Dance project, CCF field day collaboration, and interschool sports fixtures have been a huge success again this year. Whilst both Kingsford XIs proved too strong for our U15A and U14A teams in the annual football fixture, the U14 and U15 girls fared better in the inaugural Netball fixtures. The teams entertained the crowd with energetic and fast-paced netball in both matches and Kingsford fought until the end keeping in touch with Brighton until the last quarter who held on for victory in what was a thoroughly enjoyable match.
Such has been the success of the partnership between both schools over the past five years, the College has been keen to extend this further into the more local community establishing a link with Patcham School in Brighton. Two pupils from the school are taking part in a similar scholarship scheme and we look forward to welcoming them into the sixth form in September.
