Dance

Dance in the Third Form encourages participation and enjoyment in a range of dance styles through the games programme, extra curricular dance classes and participation in the Lower School Musical and the annual Dance Show.

Lower Third (Year 7) and Upper Third (Year 8)

Games : Girls participate in Jazz Dance classes during the Lent term, building strength and stamina through cardio warm-ups and developing performance skills when learning short dance sequences.

Dance School Classes are offered in ISTD Modern, Tap and Jazz Dance and RAD Ballet. Pupils work towards examinations in the Michaelmas and Lent terms and a Dance Show, as well as the Lower School muscial in the Summer Term.
