Athletics (Boys & Girls)

Athletics is one of the major sports that takes place in the Summer Term for both the boys and girls. The college teams attend co-ed and single sex meets on Saturdays against other independent schools including Cranleigh, Epsom, Harrow, Malborough, Tonbridge, Radley and Wellington.
The athletes train at the Withdean Athletics stadium twice a week with specialised coaches in many of the disciplines. Individual athletes also compete in District Championships with many going on to County Championships and English Schools'.
In 2011 the combined team won the prestigious Copenhagen Shield at Wellington College. Twenty seven athletes won medals at the county championships with seven going on to the English Schools championship at which two won silver medals.
