OFSTED Boarding Inspection

Following a two day inspection by Ofsted, Brighton College's boarding houses and pastoral care were judged 'outstanding'.

Very few schools achieve such a verdict. The independent inspection is both demanding and thorough and looks at every aspect of a boarding pupil's life at school, including their accommodation, leisure facilities, food provision, medical care and welfare. Three inspectors conducted detailed interviews with boarding and support staff as well as many of the boys and girls who call the college home. The inspection report comes at a time when boarding at Brighton College has never been more popular. Demand from within the UK, especially families based in London and the South East of England, as well as overseas, continues to rise.
