Sequins, splurge guns and sensational singing, our spectacular senior musical of Bugsy Malone proved a triumph for our first live audience in two years. As the Brighthelm Centre was transformed into the dazzling Fat Sam’s Speakeasy, those classic hits of ‘Tomorrow,’ ‘My Name is Tallulah’ and ‘You Give a Little Love’ echoed through the rafters in a truly wonderful performance. We are incredibly proud of all our cast for the fantastic dedication they have shown each other throughout the rehearsal process. This truly was an occasion to be savoured for all, with some magnificent solo singing, majestic acting and wonderfully choreographed dancing. A huge well done to everyone involved, it is a delight to see our performing arts departments are continuing to smoulder with talent.
