With exams finished, Upper Fifth and Upper Sixth pupils have been taking the opportunity to volunteer in the
sun, and have been busy helping Cllr Robert Nemeth and the Friends of Hove Lagoon to transform the area
around the Lagoon’s pavilion buildings and create two new flowerbeds. Over 1000 plants were planted and
watered, and we will continue to help out twice a week until term ends.
This will be a fantastic community space for the summer – and we are already looking forward to the
upcoming LagoonFest!
