Outstanding Pastoral Care
16/02
As judged by Ofsted (2009).
Brighton College is proud to offer "outstanding"pastoral care, as judged by Ofsted (2009). Every pupil joins a house overseen by a House Master or Mistress, assisted by a team of dedicated Tutors, each assigned to a small group of pupils. It allows every pupil's personal development to be monitored closely. Every year group is overseen by an Assistant Head who is has responsibility for the welfare and development of pupils. In addition, the Chaplaincy and Medical Centre offer confidential support and guidance.
Ofsted acknowledged in its report in 2009 that "there is no bullying at Brighton College", something that results from an ethos of mutual respect and tolerance among pupils and teachers alike.
