World Book Day

Pupils dressed as their favourite book characters.

Thursday was World Book Day and pupils were invited to collect their £1 book token or a free book from the Library.  Teachers were asked to go down Memory Lane...back to the books that hold a special place in their heart and bring to us one of their favourite childhood pictures. 

Pupils were invited to read about their teachers' favourite books and try to recognise them from the angelic faces!  The L3rd dressed up as their favourite book characters and the most convincing received a £7 book token.  The winners were Sofia Varela dressed as a St Trinian, Morgan White as Young Samurai's Jack Fletcher, Kerem Ergene as a dragon and Ho-Man Tang as a rather convincing Frodo!
