Antiques Roadshow at Brighton College

For the first time in its 33 series, the BBC Antiques Roadshow filmed at Brighton College today, attracting around 2,500 visitors.

Among the items valued were numerous paintings, significant pieces of furniture and a variety of items with local historical importance. The show's presenter, Fiona Bruce, charmed visitors and we were delighted to be joined by a former presenter, Michael Aspel, who lives locally.

Brighton College would like to thank everyone who brought items to be valued, all the pupils and staff who helped to make our visitors so welcome, and of course the BBC for choosing the college as a location.

The programme is due to be broadcast in the Autumn.
