St Bedes School gets a taste of Mandarin at Brighton College

Fifteen students from St Bede's prep school came for an enrichment day at the college.

Apart from having their first Mandarin lesson, they got the opportunity to create their own Chinese paintings, learnt about and tasted Chinese food, and also watched a traditional Chinese lion dance. The students had a great time while getting a look at another culture. As a 'Confucius Classroom', Brighton College is a regional centre for learning about China, and aims to give other local schools the chance learn some Mandarin and come into contact with Chinese culture.
