  Pupils in Year 3 ended their final year at the Pre-Prep by demonstrating their gained confidence and performance skills in The Year 3 Talent Show.

  Since the excitement of all the shows last week, the children have been reflecting on how fortunate we all are to be able-bodied in order to enjoy all the things we do, hear and see.

  Reception children spent a wonderful day enjoying the countryside at Seven Sisters Country Park.

  On Tuesday 10th June the sun shone beautifully for Robins and Owls, when they visited the Weald and Downland Museum as part of their current topic looking at homes from long ago. 
02/06/2008    Instrumental Concert
  This half of term began with a REAL bang, toot, hum and pluck(!) with the Instrumental concert on the first day back!
23/05/2008    Year 3 trip to Newhaven Fort
  On a beautiful, sunny day in May, all Year 3 children arrived in school dressed as World War 2 evacuees.  Some children had made ‘gas mask boxes' and hung them around their necks.  Others had identity labels and were carrying small suitcases along with their favourite teddy bears.

  Another successful Book Fair was held at the Pre-Prep last week.

  The whole of the Pre-Prep held their breath hoping that the rain would hold off until after the sports.  A ‘Summertime Celebration' would be nothing in the wind and wet!   We need not have worried, Father Robert had interceded on our behalf and the day dawned bright and warm!

  On Saturday 10th May, one of the most beautiful English summer evenings, 300 parents and staff wearing a variety of masks, drank champagne on the quad lawn whilst listening to the College Swing Band.

  Last week we held an "Environmental Week" to raise awareness in our young pupils of the importance of looking after their future world.

  To aid with learning of the Year 1 topic of ‘Houses and Homes', the children of Owls and Robins received visual, cultural and historical stimulation when they visited the extraordinary palace of King George IV otherwise known as Brighton's own Royal Pavilion.

  The sun was shining as Year 2 put their geographical skills into action and followed their map from school to the beach on what was to be a fun-filled adventure!
