Reception

At 4+, the children move into one of two Reception classes, with approximately 20 pupils in each class, each with a teacher and full-time assistant.  They also share their own outside playing area.  They enjoy a varied and stimulating balance between learning through play and more structured activities covering the six Early Learning Goals.  Art, Music, French, Mandarin Chinese and Physical Education are introduced as specialist lessons.
