Trips and Activities
We are in contact with local and London theatres and frequently arrange trips to see performances that we feel will benefit the pupils. Our most recent visit was to see the enigmatic Patrick Stewart perform Macbeth at the Gielgud Theatre in the West End.
Each autumn, we take the whole school to see the current Shakespeare4kidz production. In-house workshops (run by actors from the company) then build on the pupils’ understanding of the play in a fun and dynamic way. This year’s production was Hamlet. Talks by visiting writers are arranged several times a year, the most recent being Cliff McNish (author of the bestselling and spine-chilling Breathe).
