Worthy Work Cup Winners!
When it comes to House Points, the team from St David’s take no prisoners.
The Welsh raiders have begged, bullied and bought housepoints by the dozen to make it to first place in the Work Cup yet again. Not since Caesar’s legions swept across Europe has a victory been so devastating and complete. The other houses just could not compete with this relentless onslaught. Alistair Thomas in particular seemed to possess an almost mystical ability to attract housepoints, grabbing certificate after certificate. However, it is not just our top scorers who should be proud of their efforts. Every housepoint from every member of the house was vital as we marched relentlessly on to victory. Without the combined efforts of us all we would struggle, and therefore we can take pride in ourselves and in our house.
This has been a fantastic year for St David’s and a warning call for our competitors. We are gunning for the Work Cup again next year, when we will also add the Activities Shield and do the double.
