2008/09 was a very special year for St David’s. After 32 years loyal service to BCPS, 25 of which were spent as House Master, Mr Silk is beginning his well deserved retirement! He leaves me a ‘House’ in very good order. One that is well positioned to complete for both the ‘Work Cup’ and ‘Activity Shield’ in the coming year. We have in Alex Boyd and Isabel Bryant, two excellent captains to marshal to troops into battle! I am confident that the boys and girls in St David’s will be looking forward to giving 100% in every way possible. I have even prepared extra ‘Effort Award’ certificates in eager anticipation to handing them out and I can't wait to cheer us on in any of the plethora of house activities that we will be competing in.
Watch out teachers the reds are back in town!
