Michaelmas Term
Teatime Recitals - Monday 22nd September and Monday 10th November, 4.30pm Prep Hall.
Short concerts giving pupils the opportunity to perform to family and friends in an informal setting. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
Year 7 ‘Carmen’ Workshop – Friday 17th October, am.
A fantastic opportunity for all year 7 pupils to work with professional singers from Glyndebourne Opera Company on ‘Carmen’, Bizet’s dramatic tale of love, jealousy and betrayal.
Year 7 trip to ‘Carmen’ – Friday 24th October, 4pm.
Following on from the workshop, a trip to Glyndebourne to see ‘Carmen’.
Christmas Concert – Tuesday 2nd December, 7pm, Great hall.
Festive performances by the senior and training orchestras, junior and senior choirs, chamber choir, year 8 singers, wind band, string groups, guitar ensemble, percussion group soloists and numerous other smaller ensembles. An evening not to miss!
Lent Term
Guys and Dolls. Dates to be confirmed.
Year 7 and 8 perform in this classic musical hit.
