Beyond the Classroom

We have a wide range of trips and extracurricular activities to ensure that our students have access to a broad and varied experience of science.
    Year 6 at Hope Gap

    Trips

    In Year 6 there is a visit to Hope Gap for a habitat study where pupils can observe organisms suited to life on a rocky beach.

    In Year 7 there is a field trip to Pulborough Brooks where pupils undergo a freshwater habitat study.

    Clubs

    BAYS— This is a club for children who are interested in investigative work. There are Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.

    Science Revision— This is run during the Lent and Summer terms for pupils in Year 8 to help with their revision for CE

    Pet Club—This is run every morning break and has proved extremely popular with all age groups.
