Girls Sport

It’s all action on the hockey turf
The programme for girls' sport is based around the major games of netball, hockey, athletics, tennis and rounders. Netball and hockey are taught in the Michaelmas and Lent terms, whilst the Summer term is devoted to athletics, tennis and rounders. All groups receive specialist coaching whatever their ability level and all of our girls have the opportunity to participate in competitive matches. Where appropriate girls are entered and encouraged to attend county trials or county satellite training. If a girl is already on a county training programme for example, tennis, their coaching during school hours can be accommodated.
County Champions

During the 2005- 2006 season the under 13 team also won the Ardingly tournament and the Sussex Independent Schools Netball Association (SISNA) netball tournament.

In 2006 the under 11, under 12 and under 13 netball teams reached the national IAPS finals.
