There are nine lessons per day, each lasting thirty-five minutes. Not only are the children given a good grounding in the academic subjects, they also learn music, art, both information and design technology, home economics and personal health and safety.
Using pastels in artNine lessons per week are dedicated to physical activities such as games, swimming and P.E. and many of year 4 will be selected during the year to represent the school.
Half an hour’s prep is given at the end of each day. This will consist of a subject based exercise followed by a fifteen minute period of reading.
