Activities & Trips
The College believes that it is important for pupils to use their leisure time constructively and as such an extensive activity programme is on offer. Housemasters and tutors encourage the boys and girls to get involved in clubs, societies and activities in order to foster the pupils talents and interests.
Competitive activities such as Debating and Young Enterprise involve competition against other schools. In order to give pupils as much experience as possible, field trips, study visits and exchanges are organised. Academic Departments organise their own societies. Each Society is under the guidance of a member of staff, but much of the responsibility is given to the pupils.
As part of the House system there are a number of inter house competitions which take place through out the year. As well as the traditional inter house events such as Rugby, Cross Country, Cricket, Football and Sports Day there is also House Song, House Music, House Quiz, House Debating as well as competitions in Creative Writing, Digital Photography and Drama.
