Trips

The biology department currently runs an annual field trip in preparation for the A2 Ecology course. This trip aims to cover a range of practical techniques as well as imparting much of the syllabus content required.

Trips are also arranged to other local sites in the area such as the Seven Sisters country park and to The Sussex Centre for Advanced Microscopy at Sussex University.

Departmental expeditions to Costa Rica have occurred in the recent past and current plans are for a conservation and safari excursion to Kenya.
