Responsibilities

Head of House (Deputy Head(s) to directly assist Head of House)

1. Meet with Mr Hawkes reguarly to discuss house issues
2. Co-ordinate and assign jobs to the House Prefects and Lower Sixth
3. Visit each tutor year group every 2/3 weeks
4. Attend all House events if possible
5. Deliver one or two House assemblies by himself or with Deputy Heads of House
6. Be involved in decisions regarding house colours and awards
7. Encourage and nurture the younger members of the house and be as approachable as possible for all members of the house
8. Ensure that Captains of House Teams deliver reports to Mr Hawkes after events
9. Keep tutors and Housemaster informed about the atmosphere in the house and the attitude of the boys.
   

The Lower Sixth

1. Help organise Competitions and Events
2. Help organise the House Supper and 'Durnford at Home'
3. Take a lead in organising charity events
