Social Events

School House is a very friendly, sociable place, and we aim to make it a 'home from home' for all the boarders.  Most of the socialising happens in one of our two large Common Rooms, or in the boys' own rooms.  These photos show some of the other social activities that take place during the year: for example, celebrations in the Housemaster's flat, special dinners and - the highlight of the year - the School House formal dinner, which takes place in the Great Hall.  Once a year, the School House boarders play host to their parents, teachers and other guests at a special event called 'School House - At Home'; displays of their work, some entertainment and refreshments are laid on by the boys for all the guests to enjoy.
