House Ethos

• Our aim is to create an environment where every girl feels she is an individual with unique strengths and interests
• We expect everyone in the House to show respect and to treat each other in the manner in which they would like to be treated themselves
• We want the House to be a place in which the girls feel relaxed and happy. As a result of this, the House has a no -visiting rule; there are plenty of other areas spaces throughout the campus where girls can socialise and work with girls and boys from other Houses.

Seldon House Philosophy

We endeavour to create an atmosphere within the House where everyone feels comfortable and confident to:

be good listeners themselves
look out and care for others
respect everyone in the House and School at all times
be honest and truthful
keep an open and inquisitive mind
develop a sense of responsibility
set a good example to younger members
support House and School activities
