Library
The LRC lies within the heart of the main building on the first floor, and is the main learning resource in the college. It was refurbished in 2003, and consists of two galleried rooms combining the best of traditional and modern architecture.
The LRC houses 15 computer terminals linked to the college network and is home to 14,000 books, videos, DVDs, CD ROMs and Audio Tapes electronically indexed by subject. There is also a large selection of Magazines and Newspapers. Students are free to borrow any item they need for their class work and coursework, whether it is a Shakespeare play or a project on genetics; there is also a large borrowing section of films and books for leisure use.
The LRC is managed by Miss Cécile Mayanobe, and she is assisted by Mr. Simon Ashdown. The library is available to all students until 7pm Monday to Thursday and until 5pm on Friday.
All students are inducted in the use of the LRC when they first arrive in the college, so they can make the best possible use of the resources within it.
