2009 Photography Results at A Level

Many, many congratulations to all six pupils who sat this years 2009 A2 Photography. All gained A grades. One pupil gained the full six hundred out of six hundred marks.

In 2008 nine pupils sat this years A level in Photography.
Eight gained an "A" grade and one pupil a "B" grade.

Two pupils gained the full six hundred marks at A level in 2008.

Over the past five years 47 pupils have opted to study this subject to A2 level and 41 individuals have gained and the A grade and 5 pupils gaining a B grade with one pupil gaining a C grade.

This is what this years visiting examiner wrote about our pupil's Photography at A2 level:
"Pupil's work was truely exceptional in terms of visual and academic analysis and perceptive thinking. Presentation was creative and confident combined with articulate and personal development and outcomes.....at the top end of the mark range some mature, inventive and highly sophisticated submissions which, appropriately, gained maximum marks. All work was very individual, personal and fully supported by sustained approaches in all the assessment objectives".
