This statement by Andre Kertesz encapsulates what this subject is about : self expression through image making, printing, manipulation, appreciation and analysis.
The Photography Staff at Brighton College are all dedicated practicing Photographers and experienced Teachers in this wonderful field. They are:
- Mr Edward Twohig who before working at Brighton College was Teacher in Charge of Photography at Greshams School and has an MA from Chelsea College of Art in Photography. He has a long experience and love of this medium.
- Miss Melanie Holness is utterly passionate about Photography and her dynamism and energy radiates from the Photography Studio and Darkroom in the purpose built Alexander centre for Visual Arts. Before working at Brighton College Melanie taught Art and Photography at Wymondham College in Norfolk and at before this taught at Milfield.
- Miss Tess Acheson who encorporates a vast range of Photographic practices in her teaching od Fine Art across all years in the Senior School.
