What a wonderful treat Reception had this term. Mr Animazing came to school with his entourage of amazing animals and presented them to the children. Pupils had the opportunity to stroke a tortoise, Dwarf rabbit, a bearded dragon lizard and Hetty the pygmy hedgehog. They were allowed to hold some of his other animals such as the stick insects from Papua New Guinea and the Madagascan hissing cockroaches. Some children were even brave enough to have a West African Boa constrictor snake called Rusty wrapped around their shoulders. . .
