Athletics ace Ruby (Chichester House) has been rewarded
for her hard work and dedication in her athletics
training with a place on the GB athletics Youth Talent
Programme. Ruby continued training throughout the
summer, at first on her own following a strength and
conditioning programme, and then progressing to the
athletics track and finally to the sandpits for specialist
long jump training when conditions allowed. In the
last month has Ruby competed in several events which
have now gained her this recognition and a place on the
programme. Ruby will attend practical training sessions,
workshops and individual support sessions and will earn
a formal qualification at the end. Congratulations Ruby!
