We were delighted to welcome Holocaust survivor and author Ben Midler to the College earlier today.
Mr Midler was born in Bialystok in Poland and was imprisoned in six different concentration camps, including Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Last year he was honoured by the US Secretary of State on the 80th anniversary of the Bialystok Ghetto Uprising as the last surviving person from Bialystok, which had 250,000 Jews before 1939.
This is his first time speaking in the UK, and it was truly an incredible opportunity for staff and pupils to hear first-hand experiences of his fascinating past.
