Last week, we launched this year's Entrepreneurship Challenge, our annual competition that challenges our Lower Sixth pupils to cultivate their business and product development skills.
Over the Michaelmas term, teams of Sixth Formers will formulate and develop a business product, aided by a group of dedicated mentors and a roster of guest speakers. The ultimate aim is to win a share of a monetary prize to enable the winning teams to take their products to market.
The competition got off to an exciting start as our special guest Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black’s, delivered an inspirational speech and shared some stellar business insights with our keen Lower Sixth pupils.
The teams will now spend the term developing new their business ideas with support from their mentors before presenting their business plans to our fabulous judging panel:
- Melanie Lawson of Bare Biology
- Lauren Libin of Switched On Comms
- Mick Rigby of Yodel Mobile
- Serial entrepreneur Sarah Willingham, ex-Dragons’ Den judge
Thank you to Jo Fairley, and our team of judges, for such an inspiring start to the competition!
