Following in the footsteps of Old Brightonian and England rugby star Marcus Smith, pupil Alex got a great set of results today.
He was awarded Outstanding player of the Tournament when Brighton College won the U16 All England National 7s title earlier this year and represented Harlequins U17s this Summer at the Malvern Festival.
Our Director of Rugby, Mr Buoy, says: 'A very exciting and versatile player, Alex has been very impressive on the rugby pitch recently'.
Along with many of the boys at Brighton College, Alex is no doubt motivated to follow in the footsteps of Marcus, who is currently preparing to head off with England for the imminent Rugby World Cup in France.
Alex is playing for Harlequins U17s against Newcastle Falcons while his peers are collecting their results from school!
