Last Thursday evening, Brighton College had its annual House Drama competition. This year, things were done a little differently - all pupils were given a title, a box of props, and an hour to create a masterpiece of theatre! The resulting pieces, all entitled The Mystery, were brilliantly varied, ranging from deep and tragic to hilarious and bizarre, and the competition was very strong.
In the end, Chichester emerged victorious with a tale about the afterlife, featuring puppets, golf, and the (possibly excessive) use of a kazoo! The evening was a lot of fun, and it was interesting (and, in some cases, only slightly unnerving) to see the range of things we all came up with!
Many thanks to Miss Jakes, Ms Rayward and special guest judge, Gary Sefton, for arranging and judging a great event.
