On Tuesday 15 October, more than 1000 children took to the stage of the historic Brighton Dome to compete in our annual House Song competition. Pupils from all 15 Houses competed to be voted the best performers in what turned out to be a spectacular musical showdown with some terrific choreography.
While one House performed, the others watched intently to see if their moves were being bettered. The theme was 'noughties', and the pupils didn't disappoint, delivering a range of popular classics from the decade.
After two hours of intense showmanship, the girls from Williams House were awarded the coveted House Song trophy for their foot-stomping rendition of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. With a stunning venue (special thanks to the team at the Dome), a fantastic atmosphere and some truly memorable performances, this was a House Song for the ages.
