Make a Difference Day (MADD) is an annual event in which all of our pupils, from all Houses and year groups, are accompanied by their teachers to help out at a huge range of local community projects.
Although pupils and staff volunteer with charities on a weekly basis, Make a Difference Day is a real whole-school highlight.
MADD 2020 had to be delayed due to the pandemic, so everyone thoroughly enjoyed being able to head out into the sunshine and getting stuck in.
From helping the National Trust clear scrub on the South Downs, to packing bags for charity, to holding fundraising spinning sessions, to cleaning and painting community centres across the city, to gardening in local parks (and finding some furry friends in the process!) we were all proud to play our part and grateful to be invited to work with some amazing organisations.
