Old Brightonian Tabitha Worsley (Fe. 2008-13; below) made her Grand National debut earlier this month, riding her family’s beloved horse Sub Lieutenant to 14th place. Tabitha and Sub Lieutenant were one of just three English combinations to pass the finish post.
Speaking to Racing TV, Tabitha said: “We couldn’t be happier. We always said we’d be happy if we go there and get around and finish in the top half, we’ve done exactly that. He’s just a hero, the horse, we couldn’t be prouder of him.”
