Our Nursery and Reception classes met author and illustrator Jion Sheibani.  Jion, who used to be a pupil at Brighton College herself, and was very excited to share her first published book: Lily and the Polar Bears with our smallest Brighton College children. Her story is based around Brighton and addresses the issue of global warming in a way that children can understand.  Jion also brought her violin with her and taught our pupils a song all about polar bears and how they are only looking for somewhere to live. Jion showed the children her sketch book and explained how she goes about drawing different characters and scenes. They even got to watch her draw one of the famous polar bears with Lily.
