Thank you to our Chaplain, Reverend Rosie, for leading a touching virtual Remembrance Day service last Thursday.
Even though pupils and staff watched from their separate classrooms, the service joined us all in a moment of virtual togetherness, allowing us to remember and pay our respects to all those who gave their lives in war, fighting for the freedoms we enjoy today. Reverend Rosie’s comments and readings were well complemented by pupil readings and musical performances, along with a short pre-recorded wreath-laying ceremony from our CCF cohort.
Later that morning, there was a small ceremony held by the College’s memorial statue, attended by the Head Master, in which wreaths were laid and a prayer was said for the fallen.
