We are thrilled to share the news that our school has been named runner-up for ‘Best City Prep’ in the highly acclaimed ‘The Best of the Best Independent Schools Guide 2021’ bestowed by The Week. To achieve national recognition in this way is testament to our exceptional teachers who provide our pupils with an outstanding, far-reaching and forward-thinking education. There is no doubt that this is enhanced by our vibrant city location by the sea which offers an inspiring and enriching learning environment to our pupils. Scootability training, pedestrian safety, our array of outdoor co-curricular spaces and our proximity to the facilities we share with the College, including the magnificent School of Science and Sport, the Dance School and the Sarah Abraham Recital Hall are just some of the elements highlighted in our nomination. As was our Beach School philosophy; teaching on the beach enriches our pupils in a way which is like no other. Whether its tidal flow, rock erosion, properties of materials or eco-friendly art, lessons on the beach enhance learning and progress our pupils through meaningful experiences. It’s a living, breathing resource available for our school and accessible to our teachers 24/7. There is no doubt that our location enhances the academic, pastoral and co-curricular experiences we offer; it is unique, just like the education we provide.
