Year 5 had great fun immersing themselves in everything African on Kenya Day, a country in East Africa famed for its rich landscapes, vast wildlife preserves and a long history of musical and artistic expression.
The children were engrossed in a series of workshops based on African performance, cultural arts and African jewellery.
They produced some fantastic artwork with help and inspiration from visiting Kenyan born visual artist and artist-in-education James Gakonga.
The artwork can be seen on display in the Prep School.
