Year 7 had a fantastic trip to Normandy, France.
The pupils had great fun whilst developing their French language skills, taking part in a variety of activities and trips such as bread making and eating snails, playing aero ball, pétanque and other sports.
There was also a visit to a goat farm on the agenda, soon to taste some fresh goats cheese before a trip to the beautiful Mont St Michel ensued where they experienced quicksand, swimming and enjoying the sunshine, learning circus tricks and tackling challenging brain teasers and even shopping at the market!
All pupils were engaged, enthusiastic and polite throughout the week, with several staff from La Grand’ Ferme commenting on how well-behaved the group was and how impressed they were with Year 7’s level of French. A truly fabulous trip away!
