Our Year 8 maths scholars walked to the Nursery & Pre-Prep to take part in some maths activities with the children in Reception. The pupils worked on lots of different maths
puzzles such as building the tallest towers, matching the times on the clock, making patterns with shapes, organising blocks by colours and sizes and playing a big game of ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf’. The Year 8’s absolutely loved playing maths games with our Reception children and loved finding out about the children’s interests. Upon leaving, the Year 8's were discussing how exciting their morning had been and how they were very impressed with the amazing maths knowledge that the Reception children had. Everyone had a fabulous morning and it was wonderful to see the two year groups working so collaboratively together.
