Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Yoga Club is a space for the pupils to unwind and relax. Each session has a different focus; sometimes we like to practise one or two different positions, during other sessions we look at Cosmic Yoga which is always loved by the pupils, or, they like to take part in ‘grown up’ yoga, which is where we focus on our individual positions and technique in a very quiet and relaxing environment.
