Our Afternoons

Many children are ready to spend more than just a morning in our Nursery. Our optional themed afternoons are the perfect solution; children can attend just one or all five each week to suit your needs.

Stay all day

Every day we offer a different activity for children who are booked in for the afternoon. They learn and have fun with our specialist teachers in French, music, art and yoga. One afternoon each week is dedicated to an out and about activity, encouraging confidence and exploration.

Art

An afternoon dedicated to creative fun and the exploration of texture, shape, colour and form.

French

Taught by our Primary French specialist, Mrs Emery, the children start their language learning through rhyme and movement.

Yoga

Boosting their flexibility and their gross motor strength, our weekly Nursery yoga sessions are very popular.

Out & About

An opportunity to learn about what surrounds us, including our local beach.

Music

Miss Dixon’s music afternoon introduces the children to rhythm and sound-making through percussion and song.

After School

The Nursery day can be extended until 17:45 in our After School Care Group managed by our own teaching staff.

Yummy lunches

Staying for the afternoon means hot lunch. The children love our healthy menus and eating with their teachers and Reception children in the dining hall.
