Over the past few months, the Upper Sixth have been busy with their university applications. The pupils have shown admirable commitment, determination and focus, balancing the demands of UK and international applications with their Sixth Form studies, and their efforts are being rewarded with more university offers coming in every day. We currently have 306 offers from Russell Group universities, even more impressive given that applications only closed at the end of January and many universities do not offer until March, as well as 50 offers from global top ten universities (with this number set to rise as more offers come in).
We’re also delighted to announce that, in keeping with previous years, many of our pupils have secured offers at Oxford and Cambridge this year, at a range of colleges and for a variety of degrees. Given how competitive both institutions are, with places becoming more difficult to attain, our Upper Sixth have had to work incredibly hard to win their places.
Enticed by the prospect of studying abroad, many pupils have also secured offers from some of the world’s leading universities, including Princeton, Michigan, Northeastern, Yale, Brown, Chicago and Columbia in the US, and McGill in Canada. Whether staying in the UK or choosing to continue their studies abroad, we wish every pupil the very best when they move onto the next stage of their education.
