Our recent Year 3 and Year 4 residential trip to Lodge Hill was a fantastic experience, filled with adventure, teamwork and lasting memories. From the moment pupils arrived, excitement was high as they prepared to take on new challenges and enjoy time with their friends. Across the two days, pupils took part in a wide range of activities designed to build confidence, resilience and collaboration.

Year 3 enjoyed shelter building, teamwork challenges, the low zip line, go-karting and low ropes, while Year 4 challenged themselves with team-building exercises, sno-tubing, archery, the high zip line and crate stacking. Throughout every activity, pupils showed determination, positivity and excellent support for one another. There was also plenty of time to relax and enjoy the residential experience, from settling into rooms with friends to sharing meals together. A particular highlight for many was the evening campfire, where pupils sang songs and toasted marshmallows together. The trip provided valuable opportunities for pupils to develop independence, strengthen friendships and build important life skills.

We were incredibly proud of the kindness, teamwork and resilience shown throughout the trip and are certain the memories made at Lodge Hill will stay with pupils for years to come.
