Our Brighton College Prep School Summer Concert took place in the Cairns Theatre at the College, providing a fantastic opportunity for our Prep School ensembles and soloists from Years 5 and 6 to showcase their musical talents. The theme of the evening was Music for Stage and Screen, with pupils performing an exciting programme featuring pieces from The Pink Panther, Wallace and Gromit, Up, Harry Potter, Aladdin, The Lion King, Matilda, Chariots of Fire, The Greatest Showman and many more. It was wonderful to see pupils from Years 3 to 6 taking to the stage after months of dedication and hard work in rehearsals.
There is always something special about witnessing the excitement before a performance and the pride, smiles and sense of achievement afterwards. Whether performing as a soloist or as part of an ensemble, all of our young musicians should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished. They have not only enjoyed making music together but have also grown in confidence and developed tremendously as musicians throughout the year.
