What an unforgettable day at the Brighton Festival Children’s Parade. Bathed in glorious sunshine, thousands of supporters lined the bustling streets of Brighton to celebrate the parade’s spectacular 40th birthday.
Brighton College Prep School brought colour, energy and boundless enthusiasm, proudly donning their alien costumes inspired by the much-loved book Aliens Love Underpants. Our Year 2 pupils led the charge, marching with confidence and smiles as they chanted, “Who are we? Aliens. What do we love? Underpants!”.
Another highlight of the parade was our giant spaceship, expertly handmade and decorated which soared above the parade as a dazzling centrepiece with curious alien
passengers peering out. It was especially meaningful to take part alongside so many local schools, working together to contribute to the success and impact of this much-loved community event. The sense of shared creativity and collaboration across the city made the occasion all the more special.
A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff and parents who brought this vision to life. It was a truly special morning and a brilliant showcase of our incredible school community.
