Speech Day 2026 was once again a joyful and uplifting celebration of our pupils’ achievements, held in the beautiful surroundings of the Brighton Dome. We were proud to recognise and reward the efforts of our pupils across the three key areas of school life: Academic, Co-Curricular and Pastoral. Prizes were awarded in each year group for effort, achievement and kindness, while our leavers received cups and trophies for excellence in specific subjects. Pupils from all year groups were also recognised for their contributions beyond the classroom. The afternoon was enriched by a series of wonderful performances that showcased the breadth of talent across the school. Highlights included the Year 3 choir, the Year 5 dance group, as well as performances from the Chamber Choir and a range of music ensembles. These moments brought energy, creativity and joy to the occasion.
We were delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Rosie Hudson. An accomplished writer and speaker, Rosie captivated the audience with her warmth, insight and engaging delivery. She spoke thoughtfully about the importance of perseverance, embracing opportunities and the value of community, leaving pupils and parents alike inspired by her words.
To conclude the event, our Heads of School delivered heartfelt speeches, reflecting on their time at Brighton College Prep School. They spoke with warmth, humour and confidence, sharing memories and hopes for the future as they prepare to move on to the College. We are incredibly proud of all our pupils and especially our leavers. We wish them every success as they take their next steps.
