Our Nursery pupils had the privilege of welcoming a very special furry visitor into the classroom. What a joy it was for our youngest pupils to spend some time with their new friend ‘Coco’ a professionally trained support dog. As part of the pupils ‘Harmony Heroes’ afternoon, they got to engage in a mindfulness workshop with Coco and learn some helpful strategies for supporting and developing self-regulation. The pupils engaged in different scenarios about their feelings and got to give wonderful Coco a calming cuddle at the end.
